Two blade Roots blower

The two-blade Roots blower is a typical positive displacement blower. Its design is based on two "8"-shaped rotors (or impellers), which rotate in the cylinder without direct contact. This type of blower is widely used in a variety of industries due to its simple structure, ease of manufacture, and low cost.

Principle

The working principle of the two-blade Roots blower is that the rotor is driven by a pair of synchronous gears to rotate inside the cylinder. When the rotors rotate, the space between them will periodically expand and contract, forming a process of suction, compression and exhaust. Specifically, as the rotor rotates, the space on one side gradually increases, forming a negative pressure area to inhale gas; then, the space begins to decrease, compressing the inhaled gas; finally, as the rotor continues to rotate to the other side When the gas is turned sideways, the compressed gas is pushed to the air outlet and discharged. This process ensures that the gas can be forcibly transported, and the flow rate is proportional to the number of revolutions.

Roots vacuum pump: YCSR-(80/100/125/150/200/250/300)V

Features and Advantages

Simple structure: Because its structure is relatively basic, it is easy to manufacture and maintain, reducing repair costs.

Cost-effective: Both acquisition and running costs are relatively low, making it an ideal choice for applications with limited budgets.

Strong adaptability: it can handle dusty gases and has low requirements on the cleanliness of the input gas, so it is suitable for a variety of working conditions.

Higher noise level: Compared to the three-bladed Roots blower, the two-bladed Roots blower produces greater noise due to greater gas pulsation. However, in some noise-insensitive applications, this may not be a major consideration.

Usage Scenarios

Widely used in gas transportation and pressurization in sewage treatment (such as aeration), chemical industry, food processing, pharmaceutical and other industries.
