Material seal pump

Material Seal Pump is a key equipment in the pneumatic conveying system for efficiently transporting powder or granular materials from one location to another. It achieves sealed transmission of materials by utilizing the weight of the material itself and the pressure difference of compressed air, and is especially suitable for intermittent conveying tasks. Principle

The working principle of the material seal pump is based on its unique structure and operating cycle:
Charging stage: In the initial state, the feed port is open, the discharge port is closed, and the warehouse is under normal pressure.
Material enters the storage chamber of the material seal pump through gravity or other auxiliary equipment (such as screw feeder) until it reaches the preset amount.

Pressurization stage: The feed port is closed, and compressed air is introduced into the space above the storage chamber, causing the pressure in the chamber to gradually increase. As the pressure increases, the material is compacted and forms columns with a certain density while maintaining good fluidity, effectively preventing gas from flowing from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side.
Discharging stage: The discharge port is opened, and the high-pressure gas pushes the materials to move along the conveying pipe until they are all discharged. During this process, the compressed air not only provides pushing force, but also prevents material from clogging.
Purge stage (optional): In order to ensure that the pipeline is unobstructed, sometimes a short purge is performed after discharging to remove the material remaining in the pipeline.

Cycle repetition: After completing a complete filling-pressurizing-discharging cycle, the system automatically resets to the initial state and prepares for the next round of operation.
