Positive pressure dense phase pneumatic conveying

Positive pressure dense phase pneumatic conveying is an efficient material transportation method, especially suitable for situations where solid particles or powders need to be transported at high concentrations (i.e., lower gas-to-solid ratio).
Positive pressure dense phase pneumatic conveying

Principle

Materials are added from the hopper to the sending tank (silo pump) controlled by the feeding valve. An air compressor produces high-pressure gas. The materials are transported to the designated warehouse at a certain speed. After the material gas is separated, the gas is discharged into the atmosphere after dust removal or connected to the dust removal air network.

Features

  • A dense phase high-pressure pneumatic conveying system that uses an air compressor as the air source and a warehouse pump to convey materials.
  • Suitable for low flow rate, small air consumption, long distance and large capacity transportation.
  • Low noise and less breakage.
  • Suitable for conveying cement, fly ash, mineral powder, foundry sand, chemical raw materials and other abrasive materials.

Advantages

High efficiency and energy saving:
Since the material is transported at a higher concentration (i.e. lower gas-to-solid ratio), less gas is required, thus reducing energy consumption and operating costs.

Reduce wear and tear:
The material is not completely suspended in the pipeline, but moves in the form of “plug flow” or “slip flow”, which reduces the friction between the material and the pipeline wall, reduces the wear and tear on the pipeline and components, and extends the life of the equipment.

Long distance transportation capacity:
It can realize long-distance material transportation while maintaining high transportation efficiency, and is especially suitable for material transportation needs in large industrial facilities.

Low dust emissions:
The entire conveying process is carried out in a closed system, which reduces the possibility of material leakage, reduces the risk of dust pollution, improves the working environment, and also meets environmental protection requirements.

Handling fragile or sensitive materials:
Since the material is pushed in a dense form instead of hitting the pipe wall at high speed, it is very suitable for fragile materials or materials with special protection requirements to avoid material damage or change in properties.

Reduce gas consumption:
Because it works under high material concentration, it relatively saves gas consumption, especially in application scenarios that require long-term continuous operation. This is particularly important.

Adaptable:
It can handle various types of dry powder and granular materials, and is suitable for the material transportation needs of different industries, such as cement, chemical, food processing and other industries.

Usage Scenarios

It is suitable for a variety of industrial fields, including but not limited to cement, chemical, food processing, pharmaceutical and other industries, especially those that require the processing of large amounts of dry, non-sticky materials.
