Roots Blower
Roots blower is a positive displacement blower, mainly used to transport gas or to pressurize gas. It consists of a pair of rotors driven by synchronous gears. There is no direct contact between the rotors and relies on a tight gap to achieve gas compression and transmission.
Principle
The working principle of Roots blower is that two "8"-shaped rotors rotate in the cylinder. When the rotors rotate, a certain amount of gas will be sucked in on the intake side, and these gases will be pushed to the exhaust as the rotors rotate. Compress the side and then discharge.
