Roots blower pressure relief valve (also known as safety valve or overpressure protection valve) is a key safety device installed in the Roots blower system to prevent the pressure in the system from exceeding the set safety limit. When the system pressure rises abnormally, the pressure relief valve will automatically open to release excess pressure to protect equipment and pipelines from damage and ensure the safety of operators.
Principle
The main function of Roots blower pressure relief valve is to realize automatic pressure relief by monitoring pressure changes in the system:Normal working state: When the pressure in the system is maintained within the set range, the action of the spring causes the valve disc to be tightly attached to the valve seat, maintaining the closed state and preventing gas from flowing out.
Pressure rise: Once the pressure in the system exceeds the preset safety limit, the pressure acting on the valve disc will overcome the resistance of the spring, forcing the valve disc to move upward, opening the pressure relief channel.
Pressure relief process: At this time, part of the high-pressure gas is quickly discharged through the pressure relief valve until the system pressure drops back to a safe range.
Reset closure: As the pressure decreases, the spring presses the valve disc back to its original position again, restoring the closed state, and the system returns to normal operation. Parameter
